"Magical": Box set que recorre la trayectoria de Greg Lake en siete discos llega en noviembre Miércoles, 20 de Septiembre de 2023 Desde el 10 de noviembre estará disponible una caja séptuple, que recorre la obra del fallecido cantante, compositor, letrista, bajista y guitarrista inglés, Greg Lake. Bautizada “Magical”, el box incluye en sus siete discos, 91 pistas que celebran las distintas facetas de la música de Lake tanto en sus bandas como solista. La compilación se lanzará a través del clásico sello Manticore, a través de Spirit Of Unicorn Records. Además de contener música de los primeros años de Lake con artistas como The Shame y, por supuesto, momentos de su trabajo con King Crimson y Emerson, Lake and Palmer, el set se concentra en su figura, comenzando con los dos lanzamientos oficiales en solitario del músico: “Greg Lake” de 1981 y “Maneuvers” de 1983, para después continuar con sus colaboraciones con Toto, Gary Moore, Asia, Geoff Downes, Keith Emerson, Emerson, Lake & Powell y mucho más. “Magical” también incluye temas raros y grabaciones en vivo, como, por ejemplo, Lake como frontman de King Crimson teloneando a los Rolling Stones en el legendario show de Hyde Park en 1968, tres temas inéditos grabados a principios de los 80 con Toto, así como con canciones de su época con Asia, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, The Greg Lake Band, Ride The Tiger de Greg Lake (con el tecladista de Asia/Yes Geoff Downes), Emerson & Lake y una de las primeras grabaciones de Greg al frente del grupo The Shame en 1967. Los siete cedés vendrá en una caja de 10” x 10”, un libro de mesa de 64 páginas con notas extensas para cada álbum junto con fotografías nunca vistas del archivo de la familia Lake, así como notas de portada de Jerry Ewing, editor de Prog Magazine, quien habló con muchos de los colaboradores del músico inglés.
